Hart Trailer Straight Load Series

The Straight Load models offered by HART present a variety of designs, each for a particular use. HART offers three different models of 2-horse straight load trailers.

The “Thoroughbred” and the “Walk-Thru” models are designed for large bodied horses. Both of these models are 6’8” wide, 7’7” tall and have 11’-long stalls. Each model is available in bumper pull and gooseneck configurations.

The “Thoroughbred” model is equipped with double rear doors, a full width ramp behind the doors, a removable stall divider and full height escape door on each side of the stall area.

The “Walk-Thru” model is equipped with double rear doors, removable stall divider, a manger and fold down feed door on each stall and a full height walk-thru door in to the dressing room.

The third 2-horse straight load model is a bumper pull trailer equipped with mangers in front of both stalls with tack storage underneath.

Straight Load Gooseneck
Floor Plans: These are basic floor plans for Straight Load Gooseneck trailers.

Sidewall Options: HART is proud to offer four different sidewall options that are available on Lariat models. Many other companies simply offer these various side walls as completely different models. The flexibility of being able to choose a particular style of sidewall on any of the three slant load models is an excellent advantage while customizing a HART trailer to fit your needs and lifestyle. Just choose the package that is best for you and let HART build it
Standard Sidewall: Standard: Enclosed stall area with extruded aluminum side slat and smooth sheet above. Drop down feed doors on head side and sliding windows on rump wall. Folding rear tack and double rear doors on the rear end with cam lock style latches.
Combination Sidewall: Combination Sidewall: This option transforms the trailer into a traditional combination type of trailer. The fold down feed doors, sliding windows, smooth sheet above side slat, folding rear tack and double rear doors are deleted from the trailer. These features are replaced with extruded side slat on each side that creates two air openings. The rear doors are replaced with 50/50 rear gates and cam-lock latches. All the air openings include Plexiglas track. If you desire to enclose the trailer, simply order the Plexiglas as an additional option.

Owners Manual: The Manuals & Documents are downloadable pdf files that can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

These documents provide detailed information about specific trailer models. They include diagrams and parts breakdowns for the frame, chassis, and other sub-assemblies. They also contain final assembly instructions for dealers.

Warranty: All Hart Trailers come with one of the best warranties in the business. Hart’s 8-Year Plus Limited Warranty includes a 1-Year, Tongue to Taillight Warranty that replaces any component which fails due to poor quality and/or workmanship within the first year of ownership. The 8-Year Limited Warranty covers the superstructure, being the portion of the trailer body which consists of the bottom rails, side posts, roof rails, roof bows, hitch frame and undercarriage frame to the original purchaser.
